Wafa Lazhari is a Tunisian artist, filmmaker, and architect. She studied at the National School of Architecture and Urbanism of Tunis (TN). In 2024, she joined Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains (FR). Her artistic practice is born from the conceptual approach she experimented during her architecture studies. She explores moments of transition and transformation between reality and memory through film and 3D animation, where these forms interact and transform each other. Her work has been exhibited at the Villa Medici in Rome (IT) and Kadist in Paris (FR). She has participated in contemporary art events, including Les Instants Vidéo in Marseille (FR) and Jaou in Tunis (TN). Her film has been selected for international festivals, including the Annecy International Animation Film Festival (FR).
