Julia Gostynski (1997 in Brussels) studied medieval art history  and screenwriting, before starting the course at Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains in Tourcoing (FR) in 2024. With the techniques of writing and scratching on film material, she investigates the gap between word and image, memory and perception, psyche and machine, assembled in a “Catalogue of Swallowed Images”.
